Giorgio Leuzzi graduated cum laude in 1982 from the University of Roma 'La Sapienza' with a thesis on trasmission lines for microwave integrated circuits. In 1984 he became Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Roma 'Tor Vergata' where he taught Microwave Electronics from 1991 to 2000. In 1990 he spent several months as visiting researcher at the Centre Hyperfréquences et Semiconducteurs of the Université de Lille (France), working on physical simulation of high-frequency semiconductor devices. In 1998 he became Associate Professor of Electron Devices at the University of L'Aquila (Italy), and in 2001 he became Full Professor at the same University. His research interests include modelling and characterisation of nonlinear microwave devices, design methods for nonlinear microwave and millimetre-wave circuits, and design of high-frequency active filters. He has taken part to several Research Projects both Italian and international. Since 1991 he is lecturer at the International Travelling Summer School. He has collaborations with industries as Selex ES, Thales Alenia Space, Elettronica S.p.A., Bowei Integrated Circuits, Nexvap, IHP, etc.
