ATTIVITA’ NELL’AMBITO DELLA RICERCA
Le principali attività di ricerca di Alfiero Leoni riguardano: (i) la progettazione di circuiti e sistemi elettronici analogici, digitali e mixed-signal per l’interfacciamento di sensori avanzati e fotomoltiplicatori al silicio (SiPM), con applicazioni in fisica astroparticellare (collaborazioni DarkSide-20k e XENON, INFN – Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso) e progettazione di ASIC integrati; (ii) lo sviluppo di sistemi di energy harvesting ambientale e di reti di sensori wireless (LoRa/LoRaWAN) per applicazioni IoT industriali e di monitoraggio ambientale e strutturale. Alfiero Leoni è membro della Società Italiana di Elettronica (SIE).
