As a post-doc researcher (RTD-A) in mechanical and machine design (IIND-03/A), I earned a Ph.D. in mechanical and management engineering from the Polytechnic University of Bari. In 2023, I successfully defended a thesis titled "Non-destructive thermographic methods for quality evaluation of thin joints." I spent a year at the Federal Institute of Materials (BAM) in Berlin during my doctoral period, fostering a collaborative relationship.

My research focuses on developing thermographic procedures for non-destructive testing of thin joints and the mechanical and thermophysical characterization of materials using thermal methods, including Finite Element Method (FEM) approaches. As a speaker, I have attended several international conferences, receiving the "5th Under 35 years best paper award 'Ermanno Grinzato'" at the 2021 AITA international conference.

Member of the technical committee for drafting national standards UNI/CT 036/GL 10 "Termografia" and appointed as the Italian expert for drafting European standards within CEN/TC 138/WG 11 "Thermographic testing"

I have collaborated on various research projects with prominent companies in developing and designing thermographic non-destructive control systems. Ongoing research activities include partnerships with CNR-ITC in Padua, the Federal Institute of Materials (BAM) in Berlin, and the Polytechnic University of Bari.

A comprehensive list of my scientific publications related to these activities is present on my Researchgate page.
