Sono aperte le candidature ai workshop di architettura, allestimento e comunicazione per la sesta edizione di Periferica, festival internazionale di rigenerazione urbana che avrà luogo in Sicilia, a Mazara del Vallo (TP) dal 1° al 10 Agosto. Ogni anno, Periferica mette insieme associazioni, università ed imprese per ripensare un’area dismessa insieme a studenti, creativi ed abitanti, attraverso un programma di workshop, laboratori ed eventi. Dal 2013, hanno finora partecipato più di 200 studenti provenienti da diverse parti d’europa.
Per la sesta edizione - il museo aperto - i partecipanti saranno chiamati a concepire nuove soluzioni per Evocava, il futuro museo delle cave di Mazara passando dalla fase di analisi alle fasi di progettazione ed auto-produzione. L’evento avrà luogo all’interno dell’area stessa di progetto che, per 10 giorni, diventerà un micro-villaggio dove i partecipanti potranno studiare, socializzare, partecipare alle attività di cantiere ed entrare in contatto con la comunità.
È possibile candidarsi come Partecipante o Tutor ad uno dei 3 workshop entro il 1° Giugno (o fino ad esaurimento posti). I workshop dureranno 10 giorni, alternando formazione, escursioni ed eventi, ed includeranno ospitalità, vitto, ed un attestato di partecipazione (3cfu).

-- ENG -- Nominations are open to architecture, exhibition and communication workshops for the sixth edition of Periferica, an international festival of urban regeneration that will take place in Sicily, in Mazara del Vallo (TP) from 1 to 10 August. Every year Periferica brings together associations, universities and companies to rethink an abandoned area together with students, creatives and inhabitants, through a program of workshops, laboratories and events. Since 2013, more than 200 students from different parts of Europe have participated.
For the sixth edition - the open museum, contents as devices - the participants will be asked to conceive new solutions for Evocava, the future museum of the quarries of Mazara passing from the analysis phase to the design and self-production phases. The event will take place within the same area of the project which, for 10 days, will become a micro-village where participants can study, socialize, participate in construction activities and get in touch with the community.
It is possible to apply as a Participant or Tutor for one of the 3 workshops by 1 June (or while seats last). The workshops will last 10 days, alternating training, excursions and events, and will include hospitality, board, and a certificate of participation (3cfu).
Interested parties must first apply through a special form by 1 June.
